Registered and unregistered (comercial) females from weaner heifers to older, proven breeders are usually available. Steers are also available. Most have had some handling, but all are quiet and approachable in the paddock. Sale list emailed on request. Some of the females available are photographed below.
ABOUT US
Pine Spur Dexters began in 1990, on a small farm on the outskirts of Crow's Nest, Queensland, (north of Toowoomba),with the first grade one calves arriving in 1991. The small size of the Dexters attracted me, as it was just my daughter and me handling them at that stage. I also considered that they were a challenge to breed, as they were on the Rare Breeds list then and not a lot of good Dexters available. Over the years I have done limited showing - just a few of the local shows and three Breed Shows for some small successes including Reserve Champion Grade Heifer in 1999 and more recently Junior Champion Grade Heifer in 2012.
